Atomic Underground #5

Like i said in my earlier post, we’ll be selling our indie comicbook Atomic Underground at the Komikon 2008. There are 3 titles in the comicbook: The Penciler by Michael Seludo, Mad City by David Jerickson Serador, and Mario and the SPY Incorporated by me. See you guys there!

KOMIKON ‘08

Gasp! Komikon will be tomorrow, and i forgot to tell you guys about it XD Anyway the 4th annual Komikon will be on November 22, 2008 (tomorrow) at UP Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman, from 10 pm - 8 pm. Me and my  friends will be selling our indie comicbook anthology Atomic Underground, so be sure to check it out   And IAS is a major sponsor of the event, so we’ll be having a booth there too. Watercolor

Lately i’m trying to use watercolors again. I always used it back in college when doing artworks and plates (im a fine arts student hehe). But when adobe photoshop got popular, i slowly stop using it and went digital. Now im trying to practice again. Here i use PRANG watercolors (still the brand i use, even when i was in college) . I really enjoyed using watercolor again

Step-by-step (well kinda)

Been a while since i posted some new art. And here’s a series of step-by-step images on how i did my new work:

 I sketched a loose thumbnail using sketchbook pro:

Then tightened it using the pencil tool (kinda like using a lightbox):

 Put flat colors using photoshop:

I really try to make my art  like it was taken from an animated movie or something. I think i kinda pulled it off ( i think ehehe)
